Citrus Green Angela Kelly Linen Outfit with Gold Lace Detailing

This Angela Kelly outfit was created in 2012 as part of the Jubilee wardrobe, and its first outing was on 27 June 2012 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
From Angela Kelly's Dressing the Queen - The Jubilee Wardrobe: "Any visit to the Emerald Isle has to feature green at some stage, so for the second day we chose a lime fabric, softened by gold lace, with a new style of collar". The outfit is, in fact, complimentary to the Irish hosts in more ways than just with its green colour, linen being a fabric with deep Irish roots.
For this appearance, the Queen paired this outfit with her yellow gold Frosted Sunflower brooch:

After its first appearance in Northern Ireland, this citrus outfit remained behind closed doors for nearly two years, to resurface on 4 June 2014 at the Royal Marines 350th Anniversary Beating Retreat at Horseguards Parade in London. It goes without saying that Her Majesty chose her Royal Marines badge for the event:
